Collaborative university partnerships with India started in 2010. GROUP T visited several universities such as Manipal University, Delhi University, Vellore Institute of Technology and Andhra University in the southern states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh respectively, to initiate academic collaborations. The outcome of these visits resulted in the set up at GROUP T of its first Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program in Engineering with Andhra University. In September 2010 the first class of students began their studies at their University in India, followed by their study stay in Belgium as of 2012.
